About the iPhone Duo animation.
Can I export the folding animation with my own images?
Yes. Select your inner and outer screen images, then choose Export video. The recording holds the phone closed for 1.5 seconds, unfolds it naturally over 3 seconds, and holds it open for 1 second, for about 5.5 seconds total. It saves a silent 4K (3840 × 2160) video by default, with a smaller 1080p option, showing the complete phone on a white background, with wide framing independent of the preview window. MP4 is preferred when supported, with WebM as a fallback. Keep the tab visible during export. Uploaded images bypass the original wallpaper blur effects to preserve text and fine details. Your images remain in the browser, and the preview returns to its previous fold position afterward.
How does the iPhone Duo folding animation work?
The folding demo uses WebGL to render a 3D phone model in real time. Moving the slider blends between the closed, partially open, and fully open poses, updating the hinge and camera. The screen content is rendered separately and applied to the displays as textures, which is why you can replace the images while keeping the folding motion.
How can I try the iPhone Duo animation?
Wait for the 3D preview to load, then drag the fold slider or choose Closed, Half open, or Open. Select an image for either screen to preview your own design. Choose Restore original images to return to the original animated wallpaper.
Can I replace the iPhone Duo screen images?
Yes. Choose an inner-screen image and an outer-screen image separately. Each image follows the original screen geometry as the phone folds. You can restore the original animated wallpaper at any time.
Are my images uploaded or saved?
Your images are decoded and rendered inside your browser. The tool does not upload or save them. Refreshing or leaving the page clears the images you selected.
Which images work best?
Use JPG, PNG, or WebP images up to 20 MB. Wide images suit the inner screen and portrait images suit the outer screen. Images are center-cropped to fill each display; keep important content away from the edges. Oversized images are reduced for the preview without changing the source file.
Why does the preview take a moment to load?
The interactive preview loads a real 3D model, animations, and textures when you visit this tool. A modern browser with WebGL 2 and AVIF support is required. If the preview cannot start, you will see a still image and an option to reload it.
